At ALMISHA PEER SUPPORT, I believe in creating a culturally safe, inclusive and respectful space where every person can feel heard, valued and accepted.
My personal faith journey is just that — my journey. My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and has influenced my own experiences, values and understanding of hope, compassion and resilience.
At the same time, I recognise and respect that every person has their own culture, beliefs, values, spirituality and worldview.
This includes people from different religious and cultural backgrounds, as well as people who are non-religious or do not identify with a particular faith.
I do not impose my personal beliefs on the people I support, nor do I judge or criticise others for their beliefs or choices.
Your beliefs and values belong to you, just as mine belong to me.
This is simply a part of my story and the journey that helped shape ALMISHA PEER SUPPORT
— and I am sharing it with you with openness, respect and understanding.
